i bought something from los angeles, california on 9 january. i live in romania. i was wondering if anyone know how long it takes for an item to be deliver.

what means this status? how many days i expect to reach to me?

The notification means the shipper told the postal service to expect a package. Once it is given to the postal service it will go by airplane to New York, and there either sent by air to Romania, or put on a boat to somewhere in Europe

That's probably 10 business days. So electronic notification really doesn't mean anything, except that the sender notified the shipper that something is waiting. So figure it was picked up the 10th. Give it 10 business days (2 weeks), so that puts you on the 24th. I'm hoping it got out of the country by now, but that's no guarantee. well all it mean that the usps was notified d to expect a package to be dropped off (mailed)



but since today is a postal holiday it probably wont be even updated until tomorrow

and then you have to hope the sender attached the correct customs forms as well if needed
