i sent a priority mail international package in a flat rate box to nepal. it was said that it will get there in 6-10 business days, but it has been 20 business days and does not get there. i did not register it. i have called them several times and they said for priorty mail they cant initiate an inquiry and do not know if it will ever get there. i have a tracking number and all it says is that the stuff was accepted in the USA. i was wondering that the customs would scan the item, and called customs and they said they dont handle this type of calls. there is no way i can find the status of my very important personal documents. and if this service is so unreliable, why do they even offer the service? the postal agent told me that it is half as cheap as express mail and get there on the same day and here i am stuck. please offer any ideas. thanksLost a priority nail international package?
Yea, not sure who or where you got 6-10 days, but that could take up to a month with customs delays etc- especially this time of year. Its probably still en route- also delivery confirmation isnt for tracking purposes, its for just that- for the sender to see when its been received. Thus, wait and see but it may be lost sorry to say.
