Where on earth is my mail?!?

i ordered some headkandy hair extensions this weekend and they are being shipped via royal mail from the UK. royal mail and usps have two totally different things to say about where my package is.

royal mail says:

Status: Overseas

Your item, posted on 29/11/10 with reference "" has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

while usps (AND their live reps) says:

Class: First-Class Mail International

Service(s): International Letter

Status: Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.

what on earth is going on here???? i am awaiting a reply from Headkandy for more info but why does one say that it is overseas already while the other says it has not even been dispatched yet? on top of that it says it is an international LETTER?!? any help?Where on earth is my mail?!?
Hi there!

You should have received a reply for the HK team now :)

The services usually say International Letter on USPS and that's nothing to worry about :) The fact that there's a difference between the 2 postal services at the moment might suggest that although the item has been posted on by Royal Mail it may be in transit to the US and USPS may not have scanned it into their systems yet. Nothing to worry about with that either :) Sometimes the systems can be a little slow to update.

I hope this has helped

Hi! I'm having the same exact problem. Frustrating since I ordered them for a trip. How long did it finally take you to receive them? thank you so much!
