Priority mail international flat rate envelopes...see question below?

They don't offer tracking or delivery confirmation for priority mail flat rate international envelopes. I have my packages picked up by the carrier each day. They don't scan them to show that they were at least accepted. When I type in the tracking number, it says that electronic information was given to usps, but this doesn't mean that it was picked up. Some people say that their tracking number says "accepted" and that's it. I was wondering how this happens for them and not me. An idea I had is that if I take a flat rate priority mail envelope to the post office that they will update the tracking number as accepted and that's it. What are your thoughts on whether or not taking it in to the post office instead of letting the carrier pick it up will get it acknowledged as accepted?

Please don't answer this question unless you know the answer from experience or from the postal service, not for points. Not trying to be mean, but there are a lot of people on here answering questions that they don't understand and/or haven't read.Priority mail international flat rate envelopes...see question below?
Experience between the U.S. and Germany and U.S. and Costa Rica is, The USPS says they have no control once it leaves the U.S. The USPS tracks the package until it leaves the U.S. Then they are not involved anymore.

For Germany you can track a USPS package all the way from the pick up to delivery. You have to switch to the German postal system to see the delivery, but it is on the e-net.

For Costa Rica, the package disappears once it leaves the U.S. The receiver needs to call and let you know the package arrived.

So it depends on the service offered by the foreign postal system.
