Okay to mail home made baked good to the UK?

I want to mail, through the US Postal Service, some home made baked good to some family in the UK for Christmas. Someone mentioned that they weren't sure if that was allowed, as sometimes on international travel you have to sign documents stating you aren't bringing any fruits, vegetables, produce, etc., through Customs? Don't people send cookies and cakes and such to the military? Is that only allowed if going to a military address? Can anyone tell me if there's regulations I need to worry about, before I try to mail this?Okay to mail home made baked good to the UK?
ask the postal service what the rules are...mailing cookies, cakes and candy is not a problem, fruits and veggies are...you said baked goods...shouldn't be a problem...but still check to be sureOkay to mail home made baked good to the UK?
